Hill-Rom Opened An R&D Centre

Hill-Rom, a leading medical technology company, has opened an expanded research and development (R&D) centre in Yishun Avenue 7. The centre is housed in the new 5,000 square feet expansion to the original 11,000 square feet manufacturing facility. The facility's initial focus was on the development of electronic componentry, such as micro-electronics and embedded software, for Hill-Rom products, all of which are integral to the technical development of new Hill-Rom beds and therapy surfaces.

Hill-Rom, a leading global manufacturer and provider of medical technologies and related services for the healthcare industry. The new R&D Center also complements its other worldwide facilities, including a Batesville-based Global Innovation Center in Indiana, US, and ongoing R&D work at its sites in Montpellier and Pluvigner in France.
