Free Shuttle Services To Locals Halted

The two integrated resorts (IRs) violated casino restrictions and safeguards by providing free shuttle services to locals. As such, the government has halted such bus shuttles offered by the integrated resorts as they are in violation of casino regulations. Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) also ran afoul of rules by promoting casino rewards programmes in heartland shopping centres. The Casino Regulatory Authority's (CRA) was swift in stamping out the errant actions 'conveys a clear signal to both IR operators to confine promotional efforts for the casinos to tourists only'.
