Merapi Volcanic Dust Cloud Effect Arrived

Southwesterly winds carried the Indonesian volcanic dust cloud from Mount Merapi has affected air traffic leaving Singapore. The eruption of Merapi has been producing a pyroclastic flow and ash.

Mount Merapi volcano going through its most serious set of eruptions since the 19th century. Mount Merapi is located about 1,400 miles away from Singapore.
