Tuas Power Provided Free Energy Upgrade

Thursday, 28th July 2011

Energy provider Tuas Power spend about S$100,000 to sponsor five non-profit organisations to switch to more energy-efficient light bulbs. The five beneficiaries were Ren Ci Hospital, the Moral Home for the Aged Sick, the Young Men's Christian Association, the Metta Welfare Association and the Rainbow Centre - Margaret Drive School. It could save these organisations about S$57,000 in annual energy costs.

YMCA International House were doing renovations for three floors of our nine-floor building and Tuas Power did an audit. They changed 761 of their existing bulbs to amore energy-efficient light bulbs... that's roughly about 47 per cent of energy costs.
