A Jinnah Hall for Singapore

The Muslim League of Malaya started a fund, known as the Quaid Azam Memorial Fund, to establish a Jinnah Hall in Singapore. The president of the Muslim League, M.J. Namazie, announced this when he met the Pakistani Goodwill Mission to Indonesia. The leader of the Pakistani Mission, Hatim A. Alavi, appealed to all races, besides Pakistanis, to contribute to the fund. The hall was in honour of the founding president of Pakistan, Mohamed Ali Jinnah.
