BG Ravinder Singh Appointed As Army Chief

BG (Brigadier-General, a one-star rank) Ravinder Singh s/o Harchand Singh succeeded MG (Major-General, a two-star rank) Chan Chun Sing as the new In a Change of Command Parade held on 25 March, BG Ravinder Singh s/o Harchand Singh succeeded MG Chan Chun Sing as the new Chief of Army (COA). The event, held at Pasir Laba Camp, was officiated by Chief of Defence Force, LG (Lieutenant-General, a three-star rank) Neo Kian Hong. According to BG Ravinder Singh, Singapore Army is not just about platforms, systems and vehicles. It is about people - all the 320,000 people in the Army, and the one only thing that can get them engaged, ready to fight and to defend the country is Leadership.
