Aw Brothers Started Sin Chew Jit Poh

Sin Chew Daily （formerly known as Sin Chew Jit Poh）,a leading Chinese-language newspaper, was founded on January 15, 1929 by Aw Boon Par and his brother Aw Boon Haw, founder of the Tiger Balm in Singapore as part of the Star Amalgamated Newspaper formed by these two philanthropists.
