Singapore Standard Time (SGT) was set to 8 hours Greenwich Mean Time (+8GMT) from +7.5GMT. Which meant that it is the same as China's timezone. So mathematically, all those born in Singapore before 1982, is half and hour younger.
Parks and playground will be lighted up from 7pm to Midnight instead of from the 6:30pm to midnight. For walking pathway and jogging tracks, the lights will not be switched off until after 7 am.
