Aquatic Science Centre is located along Sungei Ulu Pandan. The 1,800 square—metre urban freshwater research facility at Sungei Ulu Pandan will carry out research on urban water management, and double up as an interactive showcase of projects and technologies. Besides training and research, the joint initiative by the Singapore-Delft Water Alliance (SDWA) will also double up as a public education centre. Construction and research at the centre will cost about 9 million, which will be funded by the SDWA (Singapore-Delft Water Alliance), National University of Singapore and national water agency PUB (Public Utility Board). Singapore-Delft Water Alliance (SDWA) is multi-national, Interdisciplinary research Centre of Excellence for Water Knowledge involving National University Singapore and WL Delft Hydraulics (The Netherlands).
