The Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) is the first museum in the region to present a broad yet integrated perspective of pan-Asian cultures and civilisations. As one of the National Museums of Singapore under the National Heritage Board, we seek to promote a better appreciation of the rich cultures that makeup Singapore’s multi-ethnic society.

Empress Place Museum Houses 10 themed galleries showcasing over 1300 artefacts, visitors can discover how dynamic forces have shaped the origins, identities, ideas and artistic styles of cosmopolitan societies in different parts of Asia.

The collections of the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) are housed in two separate buildings - at the Empress Place Building at Empress Place and the old Tao Nan School at Armenian Street. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from one museum building to the other.
