Chinese Heritage Centre

Chinese Heritage Centre was opened on 17 May 1995. The event was graced by business and clan association leaders and diplomatic dignitaries. The Centre is the first organisation to specialise in the study of Chinese communities outside China. Hence, it is most appropriate that the Centre should be housed in the former Nanyang University's historic Administration Block, which itself is a relic of the landmark establishment of the first and only Chinese university outside China, founded by the Chinese overseas. Chinese Heritage Centre is located at 12 Nanyang Drive, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore 637721. Chinese Heritage Centre was built in 1953. Gazetted as a National Monument on 18 December 1998.
