CityLink Mall, Singapore's First Subterranean Mall, was opened on 1 Jul 2000. It is located between City Hall MRT and One Raffles Link. There are over 50 shops in the mall which has an area of 60,000 sq ft of retail space. The Mall is designed by world-renowned New York architects, Kohn Pedersen Fox.

Although conceived primarily as a pedestrian walkway from City Hall MRT station to Marina Centre, the development, with its well-designed atriums and wide range of shops. Concept would gives us a foretaste of what the future city of Singapore at the new Downtown could be like. A city where public walkways are fully integrated into developments and where MRT commuters have direct underground access to surrounding buildings. A pedestrian-friendly city where people can move around seamlessly and in comfort from one building to the next.
