Jurong Port covers an area of 120 hectares
which started its operation in 1965 and was the first deep-water berth was built to support the then newly-developing Jurong Industrial Estate. Within the Port, it has a Cement Terminal, commissioned in 1997, is the largest common-user cement facility in the world. Which can handle a capacity of over four million tonnes of cement annually. Jurong Port handles conventional cargo such as steel, non-ferrous metal and project cargo. Jurong Port has 13 sophisticated quay cranes plus 2 mobile harbour cranes. It has 23 Berths that can handle the maximum Vessel Draft 16 metres. Jurong Port is located at 37 Jurong Port Road, Singapore 619110.
