Malay Heritage is the former Istana Kampong Gelam and Gedung Kuning. Located at 85 Sultan Gate and 73 Sultan Gate, Singapore 198501. The Malay Heritage Centre involves the restoration of Istana Kampong Gelam and its conversion into a museum as well as the construction of ancillary blocks in the compound to house other facilities such as staff offices, workshop areas, a resource centre and a theatre Studio. It also includes the restoration of the neighbouring Gedung Kuning building and its transformation into a thematic restaurant, equipped with a viewing gallery.
