Mount Pleasant Cemetery in one of the oldest Cemetery in Singapore. Tombstones are dated back to late 1800s. Driving along Mount Pleasant Road, many may just pass by without noticing that is a cemetery. Lookout for the junction of Onraet Road or a side road that has a metal chain that stops vehicle from entering. Soon after the chain, you can see a massive graveyard beyond it. Most of the tombstone has marking like "Year 5" in chinese characters, which is probably referring to 1905.
