Tekka Mall is located at the old Tekka Corner at the junction of Serangoon and Sungei Road. Tekka Mall is Little India's old heart as it was the site of the old Kadang Kerbau Market (Tekka Market) popular with Indians and others before 1980s. It’s been done up and looks rather modern now, but the range is still as diverse as it always has been. Inside Tekka Mall you’ll find a range of everything from electronics to spices - you can buy goat's meat, subcontinental fish and spices and gaudy nylon sarees. There is a saying that money pours out if you touch the wall of Tekka Mall. The wall-touching refers to the ATM machine outside.
