RSAF Trainer Aircraft Veers off Runway

A Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) SIAI-Marchetti S.211 aircraft veered off the runway while landing at the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Gingin Airfield in Australia. This is about 28 nautical miles (40 km) north-west of RAAF’s Pearce base, in Western Australia, where the RSAF Flying Training School, Basic Training Wing. The pilot was not hurt. He was sent to the medical centre at Pearce RAAFB for observation. The undercarriage of the aircraft was damaged. A Mindef statement said the RSAF was investigating the incident.
Singapore Training Facilities in Queensland

A ground-breaking ceremony for Singapore Training Facilities at Oakey in south-east Queensland, Australia. The ceremony will mark the start of construction of new facilities at the Australian Army Aviation Centre at Oakey for a Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) helicopter unit.
US Chinook Training Facilities

The RSAF always conducts a thorough investigation whenever an intrusion is alleged. As of date, no RSAF pilot found to have intruded into Johor airspace. Should the pilot be found to have broken the rules, he will be dealt with severely.
French Air Force Strength Ties With Singapore.

The Chief of Air Staff, French Air Force, General (GEN) Jean Rannou, and the Chief of Air Force, Major-General (MAJ-GEN) Goh Yong Siang, signed a Technical Arrangement for the establishment of a French Air Force - RSAF Air Group which aims to promote cooperation and the sharing of information in professional military matters.
RSAF buys 4 tanker planes from US

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) buy four used tanker planes for mid-air refuelling. The KC-135 plane will be used to support the RSAF's fleet of F-16 fighter aircraft in overseas training and exercises.
Malaysia Alleged Breach Of Airspace By RSAF Jets

It was reported that Johor residents had complained about excessive noise and pollution caused by low flying RSAF jets. The residents had channelled their complaints via the press to Johor's Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman. This lead to the Malaysian review the use of Johor airspace by RSAF jets which found that Singapore's jets were only guilty of moral insensitivity and not illegal encroachment.
Another Fighter Squadron Formed

The RSAF 149 Squadron "Shikra" of the Republic of Singapore Air Force is a fighter-bomber squadron based at Paya Lebar Air Base. The squadron operated the supersonic F-5E/F Tiger II fighter aircraft and later the improved F-5S/T Tiger-IIs fighter aircraft which are able carrying out both Air-to Air and Air-to-Ground missions.
Searcher UAV

The IAI Searcher Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is one of the system operated by the Tactical Air Support Command (TASC). It provides real-time airborne reconnaissance and surveillance to SAF ground commanders to survey the battlefield.
RSAF In Pearce Australia

The official opening was carried out by the Singapore Defence Minister, Lee Boon Yang, on 5 November 1994. This complex in Pearce have about 160 personnel and can housed 27 aircraft. RSAF has relocated part of its Flying Training School to RAAF Base Pearce in Western Australia and commenced operations there in September 1993. RSAF 130 Squadon Detachment is house in a new building and facilities have been specially constructed.
