Australian Woman Die After Liver Transplant

Ms Claire Murray, 25-year old Australian Women, who underwent a successful transplant at Mount Elizabeth Hospital last month. She received a part of her aunt's (Carolynn) liver. But died two weeks after the liver transplant blood clots started to form in her veins. Ms Murray, an unwed mother of two with a history of heroin addiction, became a controversy in her home country after her first liver transplant last September from a dead donor. That earlier liver transplant failed due to heroin use and substance abuse.
