First Batch Of Leopard Tank Arrived

The first batch of refurbished Leopard Tank arrived in Singapore and made Sungei Gedong Camp their new home. Soldiers from 48 SAR undergoing training to prepare them for the operation of the Leopard Main Battle Tanks. They will replace some of the Singapore Armed Forces' (SAF) SM1 (aka AMX-13) light tanks, which are more than 40 years old. The Leopard, about three times heavier than the SM1 and powerful enough to roar down highways at 72kmh and gun down targets 3km away.
