Singapore Airshow 2012

The Singapore Airshow 2012 is a 6-day event, taking place from 14 to 19 February 2012. The first 4 days of the Singapore Airshow are exclusively for trade attendees and the final 2 weekend days are open to general public at large. Show visitors are treated to an extra 30-minute aerobatic flying display taking place at this year’s Singapore Airshow over the public weekend on 18 and 19 February. This is in addition to the 60-minute aerial display. The highlight of the 2012 airshow was the visit and flyby of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. A old Singapore Airlines' Boeing 747 was a the centre stage of the show, it was there to mark its retirement after serving SIA for 40 years.


Singapore Airshow 2010

The Singapore Airshow 2010 is a 6-day event, taking place from 2 to 7 February 2010. The first 4 days of the Singapore Airshow are exclusively for trade attendees and the final 2 weekend days are open to general public at large. Show visitors are treated to an extra 30-minute aerobatic flying display taking place at this year’s Singapore Airshow over the public weekend on 6 and 7 February. This is in addition to the 60-minute aerial display.


The Inaugural Singapore Airshow 2008

The inaugural Singapore Airshow 2008 was held from 19 February to 24 February 2008, with the first four days reserved for trade visitors at the purpose-built New Changi Exhibition Centre. Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC) is situated on a plot of land just beyond the northern edge perimeter fencing of Changi Air Base (East), which was itself located due east of the nearby Singapore Changi Airport. Besides the usual aerospace exhibits and static displays, the event saw the return of aerobatic flying displays put up by the Airbus A380, RSAF's Black Knights in their F-16s and the Roulettes of the Royal Australian Air Force.


The Last Asian Aerospace 2006

The 13th Asian Aerospace (AA2006) Exhibition and final show in Singapore was held from 21 February to 24 February 2006. The show moves to Hong Kong in 2007. As the show organiser, Reed Exhibitions, could not agree with the Government of Singapore over development plans for a new 24-hectare permanent exhibition site in Changi. The highlight of the 2006 airshow was the visit and flyby of the A380 in full Singapore Airlines livery.

The 12th Asian Aerospace 2004 (AA2004) is a 6-day event, taking place from 26 February to 29 February 2004. The first 4 days of the Singapore Airshow are exclusively for trade attendees and the final 2 weekend days are open to general public at large. Show visitors are treated to an extra 30-minute aerobatic flying display taking place at this year’s Singapore Airshow over the public weekend. This is in addition to the 60-minute aerial display.

The 11th Asian Aerospace 2002 (AA2002) is a 6-day event, taking place from 26 February to 3 March 2002. The first 4 days of the Singapore Airshow are exclusively for trade attendees and the final 2 weekend days are open to general public at large. Show visitors are treated to an extra 30-minute aerobatic flying display taking place at this year’s Singapore Airshow over the public weekend. This is in addition to the 60-minute aerial display.


Asian Aerospace 2000

The 10th Asian Aerospace 2000 (AA2000) is a 6-day event, taking place from 22 February 2000. The first 4 days of the Singapore Airshow are exclusively for trade attendees and the final 2 weekend days are open to general public at large. Asian Aerospace 2000 was one of the first major air shows of the new millennium. The show highlight was the six-aircraft RSAF Black Knights A-4SU aerobatics team.

The Ninth Asian Aerospace ‘98 (AA98) is a 6-day event, taking place from 24 February to 1 March 1998. The first 4 days of the Singapore Airshow are exclusively for trade attendees and the final 2 weekend days are open to general public at large. Show visitors are treated to an extra 30-minute aerobatic flying display taking place at this year’s Singapore Airshow over the public weekend. This is in addition to the 60-minute aerial display.


Asian Aerospace '96

The Eighth Asian Aerospace ‘96 (AA96) is a 6-day event, taking place from 6 February to 11 February 1999. The first 4 days of the Singapore Airshow are exclusively for trade attendees and the final 2 weekend days are open to general public at large. The 1996 exhibition, which runs from 6-11 February, will be held at Changi Airport in Singapore, at the centre of one of the fastest- growing economic regions in the world.

The Seventh Asian Aerospace ‘94 (AA94) is a 6-day event, taking place from 22 February to 27 February 1994. The first 4 days of the Singapore Airshow are exclusively for trade attendees and the final 2 weekend days are open to general public at large. Show visitors are treated to an extra 30-minute aerobatic flying display taking place at this year’s Singapore Airshow over the public weekend. This is in addition to the 60-minute aerial display.
