CTE Second Phase Commenced

The constructioned of the second phase of CTE or Central Expressway commenced. Of the 3.7 kilometres stretching from Bukit Timah to Chin Swee Road, only 1.3 kilometres was above ground. With its two underground tunnelways, it was touted as the most costly and complicated road project to date.
