MBS ArtScience Museum Opened

An iconic the lotus-flower-inspired structure, ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort, opened. The structure designed by architect Moshe Safdie, made up of "10 fingers", is also touted as the "Welcoming Hand of Singapore" which opens up to the skies. Because of the geometry, every room is unique, every room has a slightly different shape. The building makes use of natural light that flows into the galleries. Rainwater is channelled from the roof and down through the centre of the four-storey structure.

On the two highest floors of Singapore ArtScience Museum stands the permanent ArtScience exhibition which is separated into three galleries - Curiosity, Inspiration and Expression.
