Asian Aerospace '90

This is the Fifth Asian Aerospace (AA90) show in Singapore with some 25,000 trade and 50,000 public visitors attended the five-day Asian Aerospace '90 show at Singapore's Changi International Exhibition and Conference Centre (CIECC).
Daily flying displays will involve 15 aircraft (some 60 will be on static display), including the Aermacchi MB.339, CASA/ IPTN CN-235, CATIC Y-12, Dassault Mirage 2000 and Atlantique ATL.2, Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet, Fokker 50 and 100 and General Dynamics F-16. The Soviet Union is displaying the Kamov Ka-32 helicopter, Ilyushin 11-96-300 airliner, aerobatic Sukhoi Su-26M and two-seat Su-27 fighter, at least two of which will take part in the flying sequence. Singapore-based Samaero will display the Aerospatiale Dauphin, Ecureuil and Super Puma helicopters.
The RSAF Black Knights Aerobatics Team performed in their A-4SU Super Skyhawks. The ST Aerospace A-4SU Super Skyhawk is a major upgrade project of the Douglas A-4S Skyhawk attack aircraft undertaken by Singapore Aircraft Industries (SAI, now ST Aerospace) in the 1980s and was used exclusively by the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), serving in the fighter-bomber role.
