The Three-Quarter Rule to Malaysia

The law requiring Singapore vehicles crossing over to Malaysia to have three-quarter (3/4) tank of petrol was enforced - following a grace period. The ability to buy cheaper petrol just across the border would undermine the national policy to curb the vehicle population. The earlier half a tank was, in fact, considered to be insufficient and was changed to three-quarter tank rule (3/4 Tank Rule).
